            Bug ID: 305376
          Severity: wishlist
           Version: 2.6.0
          Priority: NOR
          Assignee: digikam-devel at kde.org
Summary: Too easy to destroy selection in Aspect Ratio Crop
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Linux
          Reporter: pdm at zamazal.org
          Hardware: Debian testing
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
         Component: Image Editor
           Product: digikam

When I try to resize or move current selection in Aspect Ratio Crop and click
and drag by mistake a bit outside the selected area then a completely new
selection is started and I lose the current selection. It would be nice if
this was prevented some way, e.g. by requiring to press right mouse button or
using control or other modifier to start a new selection, or if selection undo
was available.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Image Editor.
2. Enter Aspect Ratio Crop tool.
3. Click and drag a bit outside the current selection area.
Actual Results:
The current selection is lost.

Expected Results:
The current selection is not lost or it can be restored.
