            Bug ID: 304490
          Severity: normal
           Version: unspecified
          Priority: NOR
          Assignee: digikam-devel at kde.org
Summary: "assigning image tags" dialog stuck when using
                    keyboard shortcuts for tagging
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Linux
          Reporter: grin at grin.hu
          Hardware: Debian unstable
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
         Component: Progress Manager
           Product: digikam

When using keyboard shortcuts to assign or remove tags to pictures two process
starts: one that does the job (eg. "assigning image tags") and the reverse
which stays at 0% progress ("removing image tags"). These reverse ones
accumulate, and since it's impossible to keep the progress dialog closed it
always pops up and annoy me to death.

The assignments seem to have happen, after restarting Digikam everything looks
tagged, or tags removed, as it should be.

Nothing (special) is logged to the console. There is no more Digikam process
running. Happens 100% of the time, so if you need something to check just ask.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Assign CTRL-B to a tag
2. Tag an untagged picture
3.
Actual Results:
Assign image tag and Remove image tag process starts. Remove stays at 0%.
Progress dialog stays in the way, have to close it manually (sometimes it
closes itself, I wasn't able to figure out why or why not).

Expected Results:
Only assign process starts and ends, and dialog should get out of my way fast.
