Hello,

It appears that the preview is loaded correctly if the line 157 to 173 in -

https://projects.kde.org/projects/extragear/graphics/digikam/repository/revisions/master/entry/libs/dimg/dimg.cpp#L157

are commented out. 

Marcel, Does this block of code copy the original image instead of the present
copy ?
