[Digikam-devel] [Bug 191494] Wish: search offline collections (e.g. removable medias)

Mar 13, 2010 was the last update on this bug. This would still be a nice
feature to have. NAS and removable drive storage only seems to be increasing
for people. The ability to search for pictures, and see thumbnails while
"offline" would be great. As would the ability to direct me to the media the
picture is stored on. Anything stored on DVDs or CDs, or even USB hard
drives can be difficult to locate.
