digiKam don't provide binaries versions.

All Linux distro will provide an updated package.

For Win7, ask to KDE-windows project. They maintain a binary version
through a generic installer.

For MAC-OSX, ask to Macport project to update the port packages of
digiKam and kipi-plugins

For mac, it take a while to install, because it compile KDE4 + Qt4+
digiKam&co. But it work fine, on my macbook...
