That error I mentioned is now gone and I don't see anything loading
incorrectly. I do see a zone alarm component called checkpoint (also
zaforcefield) running. My hunch is that even though you disabled zone alarm it
doesn't disable the checkpoint/forcefield. Would you mind uninstalling all of
zone alarm including checkpoing and forcefield if they are separate components,
restarting at least once, and trying to run digiKam on its own again?
