Thanks for e-mailing the files. Part of the problem is Zone Alarm is trying to
load a version of the Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 runtime that seems to be
incomplete on your system, so may be partially contributing to the problem.
Here is the download for the runtime. Install BOTH the x86 and x64 versions,
then restart:

   http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=26347

Then try running digiKam again on its own (outside of dependency walker). If it
doesn't work, run it inside dependency walker again and e-mail me the output.
