Version:           2.2.0 (using Devel)

I try to use Digikam whith opensuse 12.1 RC2 Gnome 3 , As I did with other
versions of digikam and other versions of Gnome in the past . I  found this
problem , when I open openDigikam I have this message "digikam fails to open
database at    startup" ( In french), and I could not use it. In the same time
if I try to use in the kde Version in also opensese RC2 I can open open
digikam!At this moment I would prefer to use gnome but with digikam for my
pictures.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
launch Digikam in Gnome configuration


Expected Results:  
to bee able to use digikam

digikam fails to open database at    startup
