Summary: Switching between most left sidebar options while in
'View Image' mode leaves the preview image but removes
                    all thumbnails and information
           Product: digikam
           Version: 2.2.0
          Platform: MS Windows
        OS/Version: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Searches

Image showing the problem.
Version: 2.2.0 (using KDE 4.7.2)
OS: All
When switching between most left sidebar options while in 'View Image' mode the
current image preview remains, although the thumbnails and any image info
visible in the right sidebar are removed. This is confusing because it seems
like the image is still selected, but nothing can be done to the preview.
Additionally, click on the preview image causes it to disappear.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open digiKam anew
2. Click on an image thumbnail to switch to 'Image View'
3. Click on any other left sidebar tabs that do not already have a search
filter applied (on a freshly started digiKam this seems to be Timeline, People,
Fuzzy Search)
Actual Results:
Preview image remains
Expected Results:
Preview image should have been removed
I am using Full Size Preview images if that makes a difference.
If a search is already saved, such as a previous search in 'Search' then the
window is cleared correctly. This is easiest to reproduce starting from the
Album view and switching to Timeline where no date is selected or People.
