Summary: Tagging images while tags are currently being written
to images causes digikam to hang
           Product: digikam
           Version: 1.9.0
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: crash
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Tags
        AssignedTo: digikam-devel at kde.org
        ReportedBy: alex at alexforencich.com

Version: 1.9.0 (using KDE 4.6.2)
OS: Linux

If tags are set to be automatically written to images, adding a tag before the
tag writing process is complete causes digikam to hang immediately.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. enable "save image tags as "keywords" tags in metadata embedded in files"
2. add a tag to a large collection of images (say, 20+)
3. before process completes, add second tag - digikam hangs

Actual Results:
digikam hangs, requiring kill and restart

Expected Results:
second tag should be added gracefully without a hang
