Summary: Editor: Color: Color Effects: Vivid - black areas
                    become reddish
           Product: digikam
           Version: 1.9.0
          Platform: Compiled Sources
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Image Editor
        AssignedTo: digikam-devel at kde.org
        ReportedBy: kamil.stepinski at gmail.com

Version: 1.9.0 (using KDE 4.5.1)
OS: Linux

Dark or black parts of the image become red tinted when using option "Color
Effects - Vivid" in digikam Editor.
This behaviour makes the option unusable for most of the photos I think.

See screenshot here:

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Open a photo with dark areas in editor.
Open menu Color, select Color Effects, select type Vivid (default level 5).
Dark parts of the image become reddish.

Actual Results:
Reddish tint in dark parts of the image.

Expected Results:
I expect dark/black parts to become unaltered.
