Summary: Text decoration moves before placement and after undo
           Product: digikamimageplugins
           Version: 2.0.0
          Platform: Compiled Sources
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: digikam-devel at kde.org
        ReportedBy: synanceaverrucosa at abwesend.de

Version: 2.0.0 (using KDE 4.6.3)
OS: Linux

After placing text in the text-placements-tool-window, the text that actually
added to the picture moves slighty into one direction, making it impossible to
place the text exactly at a certain position.

Also when a second text is added and then removed by the undo function, the
first added text moves again. I m filing only one bug report because I think it
is likely when the 1st described issue is tackled, the second becomes obsolete.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a picture, ideally one with clear horizontal and vertical lines so that
small text movement would be visible.
2. Open the text annotating tool
3. Add some text in an area of the picture where you would notice movement (ie.
close to straight lines), make it some longer text for more fun.
4. Apply the text annotation

Actual Results:
The added text slightly moved away from the intended position. If you added a
longer text for more fun, it appears that the length of the text also changes
in some (all?) fonts.

Expected Results:
Text positioning exactly as in the preview-window

1. After placing the first text, place another.
2. Remove the text with undo
3. The first text moves

thanks for looking into it,

J
