Those are attachment 61148 (comment #16) and attachment 61149 (comment #17).
There is no difference: Both are "LibExiv2: 0.21.1"

I have a different theory: 
Somehow "Digikam::exifTransform: ExifRotate" fails (maybe, because of LibJPEG:
80)
And since rotation could not finish, "Exif.Image.Orientation" stays "8" at the
gentoo system.
