Summary: Low resolution version of photo is displayed and
portrait oriented photos are rotated 90 degrees
           Product: digikam
           Version: 1.9.0
          Platform: Debian unstable
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Albums GUI
        AssignedTo: digikam-devel at kde.org
        ReportedBy: aboelens at engin.umass.edu

Version: 1.9.0 (using KDE 4.6.3)
OS: Linux

When clicking on a photo in an album a low resolution version of the photo is
shown. Also, if the photo is supposed to be displayed in portrait orientation
the photo is displayed 90 degrees rotated in landscape orientation. When
editing a photo, the full resolution photo is shown and the orientation is
correct.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Select an album and click on a photo.

Actual Results:
A low resolution photo (thumbnail?) is shown instead of the actual photo.

Expected Results:
I would expect to see the full resolution photo in the right orientation.

OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.39-1-686-pae
Compiler: gcc
