Hello,
thanks for your answer. 
I'm using Ubuntu 10.04 and I've installed digiKam because I wasn't
satisfied about the default photo management program.  So I don't have
installed gphoto2 at all, I've checked that through Synaptic. Anyway I
had run again digiKam and evrything has gone right: I've imported
selected photo from may mobile phone Nokia 5800 eXpress Music. 
I'm sorry for my terrible English.

It crash when digiKam ask to Gphoto2 driver to pass imahe thumbnails to
Qt4::QImage container.

I recommend you to update to last 1.8.0 release. 1.2.0 is old.

Which Gphoto2 version you use ?
