For additional information:
* digikam core and kipi-plugins 2.0.0-beta2 compile and run fine with libkipi
and libkexiv2 from kde-4.6.0
* kipi-plugins compiles fine with libkdcraw from kde-4.6.0
* digikam core build fails with libkdcraw from kde-4.6.0, see bug 265328

If this one problem can be fixed, we from Gentoo should be happy. (libkface and
libkmap will just be declared as new external libraries then.)
