when scanning a folder with only a avi in it a dialog with the moving bar and a
close button is shown, i thought there was still some action going on or
hanging as nothing happened and bar kept moving

Reproducible: Always



Expected Results:  
stop the bar from moving 

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.37-zen0-00281-g2450545
Compiler: x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-gcc
