Summary: Freezing system after updating digikam from 2.1 on
2.4.1
Product: digikam
Version: 2.4.1
Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: major
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: digikam-devel at kde.org
ReportedBy: axel.krebs at t-online.de
Version: 2.4.1 (using KDE 4.7.3)
OS: Linux
After updating digikam from 2.1 to 2.4.1, Hugin forces system to freeze. Only
reboot can interrupt the crash.
Sorry, donĀ“t know, if this is a Hugin topic (coming from sourcforge.net)
OBSERVATIONS:
1.) Hugin, Hugin_data and Hugin_tools come from repository "extra"
<http://ppa.launchpad.net/philip5/extra/ubuntu> or
<http://ppa.launchpad.net/kubuntu-ppa/ppa/ubuntu>
2.) When entering this bug in KDE bug tracking system, there is only KDE
Version 4.7.3 wheras new installed Version is KDE 4.7.4!!
3.) Starting up digikam takes about 3 min: is KDE 4.47.4 stable, is it fine
tuned already?
