Summary: Usability: Save As button for saving preset settings
                    is confusing
           Product: digikam
           Version: 1.9.0
          Platform: Gentoo Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Image Editor
        AssignedTo: digikam-devel at kde.org
        ReportedBy: d.h.j.takken at xs4all.nl

Version: 1.9.0 (using KDE 4.6.3)
OS: Linux

When modifying an image ( for instance changing image size ) the settings are
presented in a panel on the right hand side os the window. This panel contains
a "Save As" button.

The problem is that the user now has *two* Save As buttons in a single window,
which is very confusing. The "Save As" button on the settings panel is easily
mistaken as a button for saving the modified image, while it actually just
saves the preset.

Reproducible: Always

Expected Results:
I guess the GUI needs some additional visual cues to indicate the the "Load"
"Save As" and "Defaults" buttons are about presets, not the image itself. Or
maybe these buttons should get a less prominent presence on the panel, because
these are typically buttons used by more 'advanced' users. For novice users,
they only add confusion.

The 'Try' and 'Apply' buttons should be most prominent buttons on the panel,
IMHO.
