Hi guys, I know this is an old wish today, however, it seems to be at least
partly covered by geo-location plugin in digiKam 2.0beta (both manual
coordinate settings and reverse geo tagging). It is not polished yet, but
basically works.

The major trouble would be how to migrate the manually created geo tags (Places
/ England / London) to whatever tag hierarchy OSM or geonames.org return.
