both libusb and libdc1394 define the symbol usb_init

(i see libdc1394 is listed in the dumps and the last
point in digikam is a call to usb_init)

for me adding a camera in the import dialog is enough
to crash

but if i load libusb first, i can list the camera OK

try the following

>  LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libusb.so digikam

things get better for me. and for you?
