           Summary: support for multi-monitor view
           Product: digikam
           Version: 1.2.0
          Platform: Unlisted Binaries
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: digikam-devel at kde.org
        ReportedBy: fieroch at web.de

Version: 1.2.0
OS: Linux

I'd like to show images on a second monitor like a TV connected through HDMI or
DVI. I'm using my own digiKam filters for a set of images, that's why I want to
show images with digiKam and not the complete directory with another viewer.

Starting digiKam on the second xserver like on the TV and starting a slideshow
or the OpenGL viewer the images appear only on the first screen on my PC
monitor and not on the second one.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Try to start a slideshow/OpenGL-viewer on images using a second display.

Expected Results:
It would be great to set a target display for slideshows or OpenGL viewer or at
least to use that xserver that is used for starting digiKam.
