Summary: Import from bluetooth obex
Product: digikam
Version: 1.4.0
Platform: openSUSE RPMs
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: wishlist
Priority: NOR
Component: Import
AssignedTo: digikam-devel at kde.org
ReportedBy: toddrme2178 at gmail.com
Version: 1.4.0 (using KDE 4.5.2)
OS: Linux
With the new bluedevil bluetooth stack, KDE can mount storage devices
wirelessly using the bluetooth obexftp kio slave. However, digikam does not
include devices mounted using obexftp in the list of devices it can import
pictures from. Considering how cameras are practically standard on phones now,
I think being able to wirelessly transfer pictures off your phone using digikam
would be a great feature.
Digikam should probably use the bluetooth:/ kio slave to get a list of devices
and also let someone manually select a device, since the list does not work
perfectly yet.
Reproducible: Always
