Hello,
I need to know, of which kind DIGIKAMs watermarking is; unfortunately there are
TWO places, one can find "watermarking"
1.) in Help:
-> Chapter 2 Using digiKam
-> Digital Asset Management (DAM) with digiKam
-> Protect your authorship and copyleft/right
-> Digital Watermarking (DW)
... Digital Watermarking (DW)... "Digital Watermarking refers to an invisible
digital watermark that is..."
2.) In batch queue manager(BQM):
-> EXTRA ("EXTRA")
-> Stapelverarbeitung (batch queue manager)
-> Wasserzeichen hinzufügen (add watermark, with some configurations )
QUESTIONs:
- is the realization the SAME in _both_ cases?
- is this info STORED an integral part of a pic in a holographic way (comp.
1.)?
- is there a way to CHECK if watermarking was sucessful
- how can I SEE this information as copyright OWNER?
- how can I SEE this information of OTHER copyright OWNER?
- is their a tool to check DIGIKAMS and others(!!!) watermarks??
Sorry, I know, these lots of questions.
Hope for answers
Axel

Reproducible: Always
Would be nice to have a neutral type platform- at the moment, we can report:
- a BIG which refers to misworking of existing software
- a WISH which shall help improving existing software
- NO way just to put a simple QUESTION?
