digikam (1.4.0) on KDE Platform 4.5.1 (KDE 4.5.1) using Qt 4.7.0

- What I was doing when the application crashed:

Generating fingerprints in DigiKam 1.4 on Ubuntu 10.10 release and DigiKam
crashes.  It appears to take more than 15 minutes - so I haven't observed the
crash.  It may be related to a stitched panarama (a very wide jpeg) as I have
seen in other crash reports, but I'm not complete certain.
