Summary: No GPS meta data are written to picture
           Product: digikam
           Version: 1.5.0
          Platform: openSUSE RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Metadata
        AssignedTo: digikam-devel at kde.org
        ReportedBy: cfunghi at gmx.net

Version: 1.5.0 (using KDE 4.4.4)
OS: Linux

When creating a JPEG file from a CR2 file, there are no meta data automatically
copied to the new file from the data base (in the CR2 there are comments, tags,
GPS data, etc.). So the function "Write meta data to picture" can be used to
complete the JPEG file. But the GPS data are not taken. Please extend the
function for GPS data.

Another suggestion: May be in the future there will be a more comfortable way
to copy all meta data directly when creating a JPEG file from a RAW file?

Reproducible: Always

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.34.7-0.5-desktop
Compiler: gcc
