I'm not sure if a new tab will be accepted by users. I remember to have tested
a mock-up in the past, migrating Tags tree-view to a new horizontal tab hosted
in Caption and Tags sidebar, and users complain about. The goal been to let's
more free space to host multi-languages/authors support in this view.

Sound like a single line edit widget is enough for the moment. But i'm agree
with you, this view become very overloaded...
