I attempted to follow the instructions there on running gdb. However, as odd as
it might seem, I could not replicate the crash. When starting and using
showFoto from gdb (using the run command as specified) and repeating the steps
in the original report that would normally cause this crash, the program would
close normally; it would not crash as it continues to do so if started
normally.

Also, where does the bt command save the backtrace? I didn't find it in my home
directory
