           Summary: Image corruption after crash
           Product: digikam
           Version: 1.2.0
          Platform: Mandriva RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: major
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: digikam-devel at kde.org
        ReportedBy: potter67 at yahoo.com

Version: 1.2.0 (using KDE 4.3.5)
OS: Linux

After doing an remote image operation (EXIF rotation and / or Tags setting),
Digikam crashed.

When restarted, Digikam showed me that the picture was now 90% grey like if it
was really writing into the picture data instead of only writing metadata.

I used Digikam 0.10 for years and never had such a problem. I am now totally
scared to used this 1.2 version.

Reproducible: Didn't try

I hope that Digikam while writing an image make a temp copy somewhere. Am i
right ?
