At this place from KDE repository:

http://websvn.kde.org/trunk/playground/base/nepomuk-kde/peopletag/

You will find nepomuk people tags widget. This is exactly what's you need as
widget, we don't care about the rest of nepomuk to implement face detection
GUI.
