The completion and their settings are directly provided by the KLineEdit that
is used for this filtering. So we cannot do much about this. You could open a
bug report for the kdelibs if you think this needs a usability improvement.

What is the confusion about the relation to the tag tree? Right now every tag
title in the tree is used as a suggestion for the completion.
