Hi guys. I hope this isnt considered spam, but I was advised to post my
ideas to the mailing list. I made a mockup for Digikam that could
perhaps help out with some usability issues as well as a more
KDE4/oxygenish appearance. I know making these sort of changes is not
something thats easily done, but I believe applications need to be
structured with usability and appearance in mind. As it is right now, I
love alot of the features of Digikam, but I dislike alot of the design.

decide for yourself. Let me know if you have any questions. I believe I
have a way to redesign the UI that still incorporates all of the digikam
features but in a more streamlined and user-friendly way.

P.S. I heard you guys were porting your view to Qt4, thats what gave me
the idea to make a mockup to suggest how to fix some of the usability
issues Ive noticed with Digikam ;)
