digikam (1.6.0) on KDE Platform 4.5.85 (4.6 Beta2) using Qt 4.7.0

- What I was doing when the application crashed:

recompiled digikam 1.6.0 with kde 4.6 beta 2, STILL crashes as soon as i hit
settings in the menu.

is this fixed upstream?

i dont know what to do anymore :P
