  Sorry for the very long delay.

  Thanks for your reply Marcel, let's wait for GSoC end.

  Now I starting to work in a little application in python + qt4, to sync my
hards disks, case 1 in my previous comment (#9). The main reason is to learn
python and qt, for what I can see, the translation to C++ and qt4 is pretty
straight forward. So if I reach something usable (my free time is very little)
I will make it public and someone else can translate it to C++/qt4/kde/... and
even integrate it in digikam.
