It complained about a folder not existing anymore. But
1. I didn't delete a folder in the meantime
2. All of the images I selected have been in folders that still exist.

A deletion date would be very helpful, that is true. I'd nevertheless vote for
a built-in undo action (be it even only one step). E.g. if I'm deleting other
files at the same time. Or is restoring from the trash complex?
