Thanks for the prompt response.

I agree my installation of libkipi and kipi-plugins falls behind development.I
do not see the KIO exports.Will that allow me to export to a local folder?If
not,can that be added?

Coming to Johannes observation,he is right.But when a search is saved as an
album,will that be still available as a folder on hard-disk?I think not.Export
to local folder will come in handy then.I am trying to print only a subset of
the import from a single day.I put a filter and then saved that filter as
album.
