I tried to reproduce but it worked fine. Maybe the bug was caused by the fact
that I was using two databases an ide hard drive and another one on usb
harddrive.  I never encountered the bug about thumbnails before using the
external usb drive, so may be caused by the fact the picture are on a slower
hard disk.
