Yes, it happen for all the album, with all the kind of file, pictures and also
videos.

Yes, it's persistent and very continuous

Yes, it is CPU intensive

The behaviour remains the same

If I copy one file in my album, while the thumbnails are flickering, the copy
is really slow; if I make the copy and then I move the GUI view in an album
without photos or flickering, it goes at the normal speed.
