Summary: Geolocation tool needs higher zoom levels
           Product: digikam
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: digikam-devel at kde.org
        ReportedBy: simon.eu at gmail.com

Version: 1.0.0-beta5 (rev.: 1025964) (using 4.3.1 (KDE 4.3.1), Debian
packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.31-0.slh.2-sidux-686

For me the Geolocation tool is quite useless at the moment. If one pixel is
about 1 km then this is ways too inaccurate for my needs. I'd like to see
whether it has been taken here or 20 m on the left.

It does not necessarily need to be a better map (= higher resolution etc),
although one might get it from OpenStreetMap. But zooming in is really
essential.
