Summary: batch queue manager does not cancel processing
Product: digikam
Version: unspecified
Platform: SuSE RPMs
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: Batch Queue Manager
AssignedTo: digikam-devel at kde.org
ReportedBy: sven.burmeister at gmx.net
Version: svn Rev: 1023189 (using KDE 4.3.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
To reproduce:
1. Add a RAW (or at least big) picture to the batch queue manager
2. Pick sharpen as tool (I actually had conver to tiff before that, but it
should not matter)
3. Start the processing of that queue, i.e. sharpening, and wait 2 seconds,
then click on stop.
4. The log sometimes shows that the process failed, which is only half true,
since the user canceled it.
5. the tool and picture are marked with a red icon.
6. If the "process failed" is shown, click on "run" again, wait 2 seconds and
then on "stop" again. Now the log does not show anything new.
7. You can click stop/run as often as you like, nothing happens.
8. Wait some more seconds and you will notice that the bat queue manager did
not abort the first sharpening but finishes it, i.e. there is a little pop-up
telling the user that the processing finished, yet the log now gets a new line
"process failed".
Expected behaviour: Cancel all operations as soon as the user clicks on stop.
