Your explaination are wrong. 

kipi version use IM in background.
digiKam use IM algorithm in core lib.

To resume, it's the same code.

digiKam 1.0.0 include now a Batch Queue Manager with Unsharp tool. You don't
need to use kipi version now. settings is the same between editor version and
BQM.

For me this entry is invalid.
