Perhaps we should ask raw shooters ... So, is there any raw shooter who  at
least once has reviewed, deleted some and tag the rest of newly imported 500
(only ...;) pictures using the mode with decoding raw? ;)

I shoot in cannon raws. I guess that each raw format decoding takes a bit of
time since demosaicing algorithms are common. Therefore I have set this option
a long time ago and never changed. I it was the reason I chose digikam. If I
want to see raw decoded I use raw developer (currently just pressing F4 ;).
