Summary: search field in digikam's coordinates editor uses
                    black text on black background
           Product: digikam
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: SuSE RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Themes
        AssignedTo: digikam-devel at kde.org
        ReportedBy: sven.burmeister at gmx.net

Version: Rev: 1031814 (using KDE 4.3.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

If one opens the coordinates editor (menu image > geolocation > edit
coordinates) there is a little search field at the bottom-right which displays
"search the map". As you can see in the attached screenshot, entering some text
in that search field makes it look empty since it uses black text on black
background.

I use the dark theme, so I think this might be related. Selecting the text in
the field makes it visible.
