Well actually this is nothing special, it is a normal binary compare. The only
special thing is that you can use this enum in a function as a parameter, this
wouldn't work otherwise and you would have to use a normal integer parameter
instead.

You'll find this kind of setting in many frameworks, for example MFC etc.
