Guys seriously.... I HATE Ubuntu now :D
How on earth can they do this?

I've read many mailing lists and forum posts now where developers are 
complaining about this in Ubuntu. So many beta versions have been added to the 
"stable" release of Ubuntu 9.10, it really isn't funny anymore.

This is really shedding a false light on digiKam, and I really hope they will 
update the package soon (but maybe they will never do so, because of their 
stupid 6 month package freeze)...
