Andreas as found the solution in Exiv2 bugzilla. Please follow instructions :

http://dev.exiv2.org/issues/show/636

... and use Exiv2 from trunk if you want to play with NEF metadata with
digiKam.

Good news : your NEF picture is not corrupted (:=)))
