[Digikam-devel] I HATE EXT4

I could restore all my data now... but I'm not sure if I want to keep ext4.
About Git: well I do backups every day, 10 or 20 times :D
Its fast if you rsync to a harddisk, takes only 30 seconds most of the time.

For me SVN is much more unsafe. What if the server crashes and backup fails,
too?
Then all the sourcecode of KDE for example is gone. With GIT, everyone has the
complete repository of the project on his computer.
So if 1000 guys would work on digikam, we would have 1000 backups ;-)

When I'm away from home and there is no internet connection, I still can
commit stuff locally. With SVN this is not possible. Try to work on 5 big
things simultanously, this is a pain with SVN.

With Git I have a branch for every patch I do and can easily switch between
them.

Well anyway this is not about Git vs SVN (Git will win this anyway, in every
way ;-)).
