All albums appear empty in Digikam. I've seen a few bugs with similar problems
but nothing seems to apply directly to what I'm experiencing. I've tried
restarting Digikam and deleting my database file but without any effect. I get
this output in the terminal:

void SunLocator::update()
digikam(4659): couldn't create slave: "Unable to create io-slave:
klauncher said: Error loading 'kio_digikamalbums'.

I've installed Digikam from the Ubuntu 9.10 repositories.
