Summary: creation date is changed when converting to png
           Product: digikam
           Version: 0.10.0
          Platform: SuSE RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: digikam-devel at kde.org
        ReportedBy: linux at drmartinus.de

Version: 0.10.0 (using KDE 4.2.96)
OS: Linux
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

I noticed that, when I import pictures from a SD-card and select conversion
into a lossless file format (i.e. *.png), the creation date of the pictures is
changed to the date and time of the import. This doesn't happen with RAW-format
files (dng) which are imported simultaneously. So I have two images (1.png and
1.dng) which have different creation dates. The creation-date is untouched when
I import as jpg, i.e. the format which the image is also on the card.
In my opinion, only the change-date should be set to the date and time of the
import (and format conversion), but not the picture creation date.
