Summary: Namuga webcam Samsung netbook NC10
Product: digikam
Version: unspecified
Platform: SuSE RPMs
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: wishlist
Priority: NOR
Component: Camera GUI
AssignedTo: digikam-devel at kde.org
ReportedBy: whermanns at web.de
Version: (using KDE 4.1.3)
Compiler: opensuse 11.1
OS: Linux
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
Hello,
I installed openSUSE 11.1 on a Samsung netbook NC10.
The KDE version is 4.1.3.
The webcam works fine with cheese but I cannot use it with kopete or digikam.
It is not possible to add rsp. to map the camera to the application.
dmesg shows:
uvcvideo: Found UVC 1.00 device Namuga 1.3M Webcam (0ac8:c326)
input: Namuga 1.3M Webcam as
/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1d.7/usb1/1-8/1-8:1.0/input/input9
Is it possible to add a camera manually to the list? What is the file the
cameras are listed in?
Thanks.
W. Hermanns
